The North Mankato Electric Flyers is a group that shares an interest in electric RC aviation.  The group enjoys flying electric powered RC aircraft mainly at the North Mankato Forsberg Field.  This field is dedicated to the use of electric RC aircraft.  It is open to the public with no permits or membership required.  The North Mankato Electric Flyers worked with the city to develop the site and use it to also work with area groups such as the Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, area school groups and more.  The group welcomes new people into the hobby and is willing to help people learn about RC aviation and will even help train newcomers on how to fly.
